Aspect: Decide how you’d like to meal plan – a week at a time, two weeks, a whole month? Decide how you will grocery shop for that!

Meal planning. Today is meal planning and I love it, but I hate it. Before you get into your year, you need to decide how you’re going to meal plan and what that looks like for you.

Some people like to meal plan one week at a time. This means buying groceries weekly, or creating a meal plan around whatever you have in your fridge and pantry already. Others plan two weeks at a time and make a more specific grocery run. So many variables come in to play for meal planning, so there’s no right or wrong way to meal plan.

The best plan is simply having a plan.

Today, consider what works best for your family. Maybe your current schedule leaves you all eating at different times, maybe you just got married, so there are only two people to schedule around. Each season is different. Pick the way you’d like to schedule your meals now to take the pressure off later.
